RAMDAM CONTEST 2017

As part of the 7th edition of the Ramdam festival which will take place from January 14 to 24, 2017, Cinepocket and Ramdam Festival organise a competition of pocket films made with a pocket camera. Make a ‘disturbing’ film with your pocket camera, send it before January  08, 2017 and earn an iPhone 6 and other nice prizes!

THE CHALLENGE

Make a film of 2 minutes maximum with your pocket camera about a ‘disturbing’ subject in a completely free way. Funny, traumatic, creative, subversive, free or socially engaged: it is up to you to choose the tone of the film, at Ramdam Festival, you have ‘carte blanche’ and there are no taboos!

A challenging subject ? Sexuality, racism, cyberstalking, violence, drugs, death, poverty, advertising, war, populism, for example. The aim is to allow participants to consider a subtle and effective way to increase the viewer awareness through a short film that is likely to make you think, to shake up minds and encourage dialog.
THE PRIZES
 
3 categories are open to competition:

- Directors of ’25 years of age & older’ (1st prize: 1 iPhone 6)
- Directors ‘under 25 years of age’ (1st prize: 1 iPhone 6)
- Directors ‘under 12 years of age’ (1st prize: Fnac vouchers)

THE DATES

- Submission deadline: January 8, 2017 (11:59PM, GMT+1)
- Deliberation of the jury: January 09-11, 2017
- Screening / Awards Ceremony: January 18, 2017 at Imagix
  Tournai as from 6PM (Free entrance).
