Call for films: #Makeadisturbingfilm
As part of the 7th edition of the Ramdam festival which will take place from January 14 to 24, 2017, Cinepocket and Ramdam Festival organise a competition of pocket films made with a pocket camera. Make a ‘disturbing’ film with your pocket camera, send it before 01.08.2017 and win a brand new iPhone 6 and other nice prizes!
CHALLENGE Make a film of 2 minutes maximum with your pocket camera about a ‘disturbing’ subject in a completely free way. Funny, traumatic, creative, subversive, free or socially engaged: it is up to you to choose the tone of the film, at Ramdam Festival, you have ‘carte blanche’ and there are no taboos! A challenging subject, which encourages discussion? Sexuality, racism, cyberstalking, violence, drugs, death, poverty, advertising, war, populism, for example. The aim is to allow participants to consider a subtle and effective way to increase the viewer awareness through a short film that is likely to make you think, to shake up minds and encourage dialog. SUBMISSIONS CRITERIA The films must: - Be shot with a pocket camera (smartphone, Gopro, ...) - Last 2 minutes maximum (opening and closing credits not included) - Be consistent with the competition rules - Be submitted before January 08, 2017 (23:59 GMT+1)
Best of luck !
